Transform Asia, human-led business development in Asia

For mobility and fleet technology vendors

We find your first customerin Asian mobility.

Two buyers: one moves in weeks, one moves in budget cycles. Asia is electrifying and instrumenting transport faster than anywhere, and which of the two you start with decides whether this is a twelve-week sale or a two-year programme.

Density makes the business case obvious.

Fleet electrification, transit modernisation and traffic management are funded programmes across the region right now, driven by density, emissions targets and the fact that these cities can actually change infrastructure quickly when they decide to.

The catch is that the same product is sold two entirely different ways. A commercial fleet operator has a payback calculation and can sign this quarter. A land transport authority has a procurement programme, a tender and a multi-year calendar. Picking the wrong one first is how vendors lose a year.

Who actually signs

The roles we target on both paths. The commercial operator decides on economics; the public authority decides on a programme, and almost never alone.

  • Head of Fleet / Fleet director
  • Chief Operating Officer, transport operator
  • Head of Sustainability
  • Transport authority programme lead
  • Head of Procurement

What it actually takes

  • Win a commercial fleet before you chase an authority

A logistics or ride-hailing fleet buys on payback and can decide this year. A public authority wants to see the system running somewhere nearby before it enters a programme. The commercial deal is both the faster revenue and the credential that makes the slower one reachable, and it needs somebody here working it.

  • Public procurement rewards being early, not being cheapest

Authority tenders are shaped during a study phase that closes long before anything is published. If your first contact with the programme is the tender document, you are pricing against a specification written around somebody else.

  • Deployment is local whether you like it or not

Charging hardware, roadside units and depot systems need installation, maintenance and a local support answer. Buyers ask about it early, and a vendor with no regional service story loses on that rather than on the technology.

What this looks like as an engagement

Both buyers reward being present early and neither rewards a sequence, so the engagement is a team here. Start with the Test on ten accounts you choose, then open the market properly over a quarter.

A named Senior and a named Junior on every account, introduced before you sign. The Market Opening is often grant-fundable through your home country's export scheme.

Ten fleet operators or transport authority decision-makers you choose, approached by your Senior across Asia within 30 days. Then a straight go or no-go.
